All that matters

“I wanna feel connected… outside my box.
See the light, be greeted… by other folks.
The warm hubbub of the pub… inebriating
a joyous mob off their gob… gobbledygooking.
À simple rumble,… a timeless happiness mess, Continue reading

To create everyday #7

Catching up with my current serie of excerpts, this piece is already a few weeks old! The last week or so have seen quite a few things developing, as I am now officially a poet on bail! As such, and to catch up with my duties, and before beginning a new serie, I should publish here and now the 7th excerpt of th Raven’s Forgotten and Unpublished Grimoire #RFUG7 . If you are familiar with the serie already, you may notice a slight change in the theme’s usual structure. With no further ado, enjoy. Continue reading

Ameyrica II Ameyndments

So here we are again, in the street of ex-leafy Sheffield, where I am not allowed because on bail….. which hopefully will soon be amended to allow me to collect more artistic evidence from the incredible one-in-a-lifetime human experience in the making there (albeit a 100m from work zones…… but possibly with a megaphone!).

This is the second parchment of words and their definition that we have recollected from our anthropological excursions in the Stump city. Enjoy Continue reading

#Ameyrica’s ameyndments

So today, and because there has been much happening lately in the streets of Sheffield, most of which by the way I have been banned from walking through weekdays 9 to 5! I indeed have been arrested (/targeted?) on claims that I assaulted 3 twicemesized bouncers who were reasonably twisting my fingers. So now, I cannot exercise my right to peacefully demonstrate and therefore get a lot of inspiration on site.

So here are a few new words we created to express our utmost disagreement with the way Sheffield city council, Amey plc and South Yorkshire Police are interacting with us, the people, the neighbours, the families, the lawful citizens. Continue reading

The morning after #6

I remember writing it more as recreational fun rather than in the view of publishing it. I wanted to express the idea than as humans we are designed to feel and experience life but some of us never wake up from their screen.

For the full text with better readability:

1/ It was the morning after, I’ve never felt more blissful ever. From the first…

2/…From the first second forth and on, since on that day and ever since, my soul awoke in…

3/…My soul awoke in this bed. The night had turned my whole being into a furnace of happiness. Exulting with… Continue reading

C&C #5

1/ A coffee, and a cigarette, / as it’s always been. / The first to feel awake, / the last …

2/ The last to forget the grind. / Five times a day since twenty years, / for the next ten, and now again, / another one with…

3/ Another one with my colleagues, / who do the same / since twenty years for the next nine. / A coffee to…

4/ A coffee to keep productive, / a cigarette to cope with the stress, / and to feel less alone in all that mess. / sometimes I wish… Continue reading

Quieter than snow…#4

I wrote this piece as an homage to all the victims of wars, the civil casualties who have been at the wrong place at the wrong time. To those who bled just so we could understand the price of freedom. To the unknown friends wiped before we could meet. Continue reading

Lighter than water #RFUG3

1_. Here I am, just a piece of paper, floating on the river, to remind you that…

2_. To remind you that life could be as simple as me, I too am on a journey you see, hopefully to…

3_. Hopefully to the ocean and further, I guess it will depend on the weather! I have been…

4_. I have been dropped earlier and somehow, I’ve ended up on this flow, which gently… Continue reading

Butterfly in waiting #RUFG2

Here’s the second Chapter of the Raven’s Forgotten and Unpublished Grimoire. There are already over 10 stories written needing publishing…..and illustrating. So bear with me while I gather all I need to set up the picture scenario, but at least you get to read the plot. This serie has for aim to become an visual exhibition enhanced by a story-telling performance. Work in progress, watch this page. Continue reading

The seeds of Future

Still inspired from the actual situation around my street, in Sheffield, january 2018. When our future is governed by men/women who have no understanding of their own actions. but at the end, we re all the same, without purpose, there is nowhere to go. This has been inspired by a discussion (to put it kindly), with some police liaison officers who come on site apparently just to warn people they can be arrested….. but in fact the conversation is pretty much oneway and gets boring quickly….. enjoy
